Art Tiers – With A Caveat

So there was very little interest in the art tiers, to be honest – to the point where I kinda expect this experiment to crash and burn… But I’m going to try my best to avoid that happening!

I’ve officially made the $10 and $20 tiers into Art Tiers. People who join those tiers will see any art I commission a month early at the very least (and there might be some permanent exclusives – or at least exclusive variants of pictures – as well.)

The quality/quantity of art is going to depend heavily on how many people actually join, though. I’m basically treating every $10 patron as another $5 towards Art Budget, and every $20 patron as $15 towards it. (With $5 going towards my own needs in each case.) I can’t guarantee I’ll spend it down to the last penny or anything, but the quality and quantity should scale directly with the amount going into it.

I’ll probably have to start off commissioning cheap sketches and the like – concept art of the characters, cute little chibi pics, stuff like that. With luck, it might grow into Bigger Things though. (There’s one scene in particular I want to get commissioned, from chapter 24 of My Own Villainess – Garnet or Ruby. It’ll run me a 140 to bring into reality, though, and I don’t really expect the art tiers to get me there so it’ll have to wait until I can afford to purchase it out of pocket… (Art tier members will totally get first dibs at seeing it though regardless.)

Anyway, if anyone is truly interested in the art tiers I hope they’ll consider upgrading (or just joining for that matter) – but no worries if not. I know money is tight all around.
