So, apparently Amazon offers this really useful tool called “Kindle Create” – one I haven’t really messed with until now, and forgot about if I ever knew it existed… By messing with it, I was able to create a slightly prettier version of the book for both kindle and paperback. For kindle, I suspect you can just redownload the book once the changes go live (assuming you wish to.) There’s no changes to the content, I mostly just made the secondary headings (the ones that announce which character’s PoV we’re in) look nicer, and replaced the *** with a more proper splitter. Yup, that’s right – per popular demand(?) you can now buy a physical version of the book! I. Couldn’t really afford a bunch of test copies, so it might not be as formatted 100% as prettily as the kindle? But I looked over the proof, and other than the inner pics losing some edges/being a bit off center it’s looking pretty good. The cost is higher than I’d like, at 17.99, but I swear it’s not greed on my part – I only make about $3.42 per book sold, on par with the kindle edition. The rest is cost of printing and Amazon’s share of the profits. I don’t know…

My gut instinct says it’s not worth doing. Like, I’d certainly like one for myself, but I’m not sure there’d be enough interest to actually try and print the numbers required for sale. That said, I figured I’d hold a poll just in case I’m wrong…?
